Charlotte Greve received a Ph.D. for her dissertation Writing and the ‘Subject'. Image-Text Relations in the Early Russian Avant-Garde and in Contemporary Russian Visual Poetry (published in Amsterdam, 2004). Her research concerns word-image relations in the 20th-century Russian art and literature, memory, subjectivity and the archive. She is currently completing a post-doc research project entitled "The Russian Avant-Garde in memoriam" at the Department of
Aesthetics and Culture, Institute of Aesthetic Studies, the University of Aarhus financed by Carlsbergfondet.
